Ring in Spring with Bells of the Bluffs Handbell Ensemble
Spring season includes benefit concert, tour and kick-off event.

RED WING, Minn., March 4, 2018 – Chase away the winter blahs and welcome spring sounds with Bells of the Bluffs Handbell Ensemble’s “Ringing in Spring” concert series.
The program will include a sunny mix of classical and modern music from traditional favorites to popular songs. Concertgoers will enjoy the range of musical effects possible with handbells, chimes, percussion instruments and a one-of-a-kind bass pipes apparatus.
Join Bells of the Bluffs at one or more of these musical events:
April 21, 6:30 p.m., St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 825 51st Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, Minnesota (a benefit concert to raise funds for St. Timothy’s facilities upgrades)
April 25, 6:00 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 615 W 5th Street, Red Wing, Minnesota (a kickoff event for the Bells of the Bluffs Wisconsin tour that will include social time and audience activities)
April 28, 2:00 p.m., Oshkosh Seniors Center, 200 N Campbell Road, Oshkosh, Wisconsin
April 28, 7:00 p.m., Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2330 E Calumet Street, Appleton, Wisconsin
April 29, 3:00 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, 206 E Badger Street, Waupaca, Wisconsin
As part of its eastern Wisconsin tour, Bells of the Bluffs also will appear as a full ensemble or in small groups at Redgranite Correctional Institution in Redgranite, Wisconsin, and during Sunday morning services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca and Calvary Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Bells of the Bluffs is devoted to igniting passion in handbells and is in its fifth year of sharing the joy of handbell music with audiences of all ages. The 14-member group is under the direction of Marilee Anderson and is a community handbell ensemble made up of ringers from east-central and southeastern Minnesota, western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities metro area.
